A Citroen 2CV boasted simplicity of maintenance, minimal fuel consumption and overall low cost of ownership. With the lack of paved roads in France at the time, the 9hp air cooled engine and design of the car would allow it to cross a freshly ploughed field.

This 1986 example is in extremely original condition, having only covered 31,000 miles from new. It runs and drives exactly how a 2CV should, with its typical quirky style.

The car has benefited from recent work including a new roof, new tyres and fresh MOT. While in our care we've spent time wax oiling it to ensure it's winter ready and ready to go.

The body is very solid and the interior is original and protected by tailored seat covers. The recognisable Plum and Custard paint is in good order and, polished up, makes a very tidy and presentable car.
