1979 MG B Roadster
Sold
Location: Cranleigh
Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB continued until 1980. Sales for the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 totalled over 500,000 cars.
This MG B was first registered in Brighton on the 16th January 1979, and more recently spent the last 15 odd years in Guildford.
The MG starts and runs very well, it has great oil pressure and sounds great. It has had new fuel hoses, a new radiator as well as a new clutch in recent years which was less than 1000 miles ago, the mileage is currently showing 48,000 miles which we believe to be genuine.
The drivetrain is lovely, there are no noises at all and the overdrive is working correctly. The car handles very well, it has good tyres all round as well as after market Minilite style wheels.
The body is in great shape, there is no corrosion and it is not covered in thick underseal. The paintwork isn't immaculate but it does shine and present well.
The interior is largely original and it is fitted with a new carpet. The roof is in good order with no rips or tears.
We have a large amount of history including the current V5.
