1978 MG B GT

Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB continued until 1980. Sales for the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 totalled over 500,000 cars.

This MG B GT was first registered on the 31st March 1978 in Lincoln, more recently it has spent a number of years in Kent.

The engine is running well, it starts first time and sounds great. It has good oil pressure and is fitted with electronic ignition.

The drivetrain is in good order and does everything it’s meant to. The overdrive is in perfect working order and it has also just had a new clutch slave cylinder and hose. The car handles very well and has new tyres all round.

The bodywork is in good condition and it is very solid underneath. The paintwork is of a good standard, it shines well and looks great, however it does have some micro blistering to most panels.

The interior is like new and has been finished to a high standard, there are no rips or tears and is just as good as the day it was fitted.

The MG is TAX and MOT exempt, however it has just had a fresh MOT for piece of mind, there is some online MOT history and it comes complete with the current V5.
