1974 MG B GT
Sold
Location: Petworth
Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB continued until 1980. Sales for the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 totalled over 500,000 cars.
This MG B was originally registered on the 13th June 1974 in Middlesbrough, before finding its way to West Sussex.
The engine is very sweet, it has good oil pressuere and sounds great. It starts and runs well and has recently had a tune up as well as new 12V battery.
The drivetrain is in good order, the clutch is light and the gears are direct. It drives really well, handles nicely, and has just been fitted with new tyres and tubes all round.
The body is very soild and there is no corrosion to the underside, it is not covered in thick underseal hidding any sins. The MG is finished in the unusual Mallard Green which really suits it, the paint isn't immaculate but it does shine up nicely and present well.
The interior is in good order, there are no rips or tears and on the whole is in nice condition.
