Sold
Location: Cranleigh
Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB continued until 1980. Sales for the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 totalled over 500,000 cars.
This MG B was first registered in Bournemouth on the 1st March 1974 and more recently spent the last 10 years in Hampshire.
The engine starts and runs very well, it sounds great and has good oil pressure. There is no frost damage and all fluids are in the correct places, it is also fitted with a full stainless steel exhaust.
The drivetrain is in perfect order, there are no nasty noises, the gears are direct and the clutch as you would expect. The MG drives and handles very well and is fitted with new tyres all round.
The body is very solid, the underside looks in good order and no corrosion, the paint work is nice and although not immaculate it shines well. The wheels have been refurbished and the chrome is in good order.
The interior is very original and in the more unusual tan colour, there are no rips or tears and has matching carpets. The hood is has been replaced and is water tight.
