1972 MG B GT
Sold
Location: Cranleigh
The fixed-roof MGB GT was introduced in October 1965 and production continued until 1980. It sported a ground-breaking greenhouse designed by Pininfarina and launched the sporty "hatchback" style.
If you’re looking for an easy project this could well be the car for you. The MG B GT has previously been restored to a high standard and, thanks to the previous work carried out, it wouldn't be a huge undertaking.
It starts and runs well, it does drive and is complete with overdrive, however the brakes will need servicing so we recommend that it’s transported away.
The interior is in good order and the seats are not torn.
We haven't carried out a full VHC on the car however we can see that typical recommissioning work will be required. The sills were replaced at the time of the restoration and are in good order but we believe it will require a small amount of welding. The paint work is bubbling in a few areas.
The car comes with some paperwork and we have photographs to show some of the previous work that has been completed.
Viewing is highly recommended before purchasing to make sure you are completely happy with the car.
