The Bentley T-series is a luxury automobile produced by Bentley Motors Limited in the UK between 1965 and 1980. It was displayed for the first time at the Paris Motor Show on 5 October 1965 as a Bentley-badged version of the totally redesigned Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow.
This is a great opportunity to pick up a rare vehicle and worthwhile project needing very little recommissioning. The car starts and runs very well. The big V8 engine is as fit as a fiddle and other than a slight blow from one exhaust manifold requires no attention at all. The running gear is in working order and is fitted with the later automatic gearbox. The brakes work very well although at least one brake is binding so there is some attention required as part of the recommissioning. Service kits are available for this at very reasonable money.
The bodywork is very nice - there is no corrosion to the underside and the paintwork, although far from immaculate, does shine and clean up well. The tanned interior is in good order as seen in the pictures and is a lovely contrast to the Brewster green paintwork.
All in all this is a super project and really won’t take much recommissioning to bring up to scratch.
V5 is present as well as the chassis cards direct from the RREC.
