1970 MG B Roadster
£8,750
Location: Petworth
Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB continued until 1980. Sales for the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 totalled over 500,000 cars.
This MG B Roadster was first registered on the 1st July 1970, in Gloucestershire before recently spending a number of years in Surrey.
The running gear is in good order, the engine starts and runs well with perfect oil pressure. It has a stainless steel exhaust fitted and sounds great.
The drivetrain is as you would expect, there are no nasty noises and the overdrive works well. The car handles lovely and is possibly one of the best Bs we have driven recently.
The body is very solid, the underside is clean and tidy, it is not covered in thick underseal and any repair work has been completed to a high standard. The paintwork polishes up nicely, it is not immaculate but presents very well.
The interior has been replaced in recent years and is in good order and there are no rips or tears. The hood is water tight although is has had a couple of neat repairs, the car is also complete with a tonneau cover.
We have a large history file, complete with the current V5.
