1967 Morris Minor Traveller

Sold

Location: Cranleigh

The Morris Minor is an economy car produced by Morris Motors between 1948 and 1971. It made its debut at the Earls Court Motor Show, London, in October 1948. More than 1.6 million were manufactured in three series: the Series MM, the Series II, and the 1000 series.

This Morris Minor has been subject to a major restoration. The running gear is spot on, it drives faultlessly, performs fantastically and runs like a sewing machine. The drive train is very nice and quiet, the gear change is smooth and the clutch as you would expect. It is also fitted with upgraded front discs and pads as well as a servo assisted system.

The body work is in good order, new woodwork has been fitted and there is no corrosion to the underside. The paint work was finished to a high standard and is still in good order - there is the odd mark around the car but it is still very nice. The interior is in lovely order, we believe the seats are original but the carpets have most likely been replaced.

It is fitted with a new 12V battery, as well as new tyres all round.

Current V5 present. TAX and MOT exempt although it does currently have a 12 month MOT.
