1961 Morris Minor Traveller
£9,500
Location: Petworth
The Morris Minor is an economy car produced by Morris Motors between 1948 and 1971. It made its debut at the Earls Court Motor Show, London, in October 1948. More than 1.6 million were manufactured in three series: the Series MM, the Series II, and the 1000 series.
This Morris Minor was first registered on the 22nd February 1961 in London, and in more recent years has spent a number of years in Suffolk.
The engine is a reconditioned unit by KAR in Barnstable, it is running very nicely, it sounds good and has plenty of power for a 1098cc.
The drivetrain is in lovely order and there are no nasty noises. It bombshell along very nicely and genuinely is possibly one of the nicest driving minors we have recently had in.
The body is very solid, there is no corrosion to the underside and it is not covered in thick underseal. The car was restored a few years ago which included paintwork to a high standard as well as new woodwork, and although the Morris is not concours or immaculate it is still very clean and tidy and presents well.
The interior has also been replaced during the restoration and remains in good condition.
We do have a history file, including the current V5.
