The Land Rover Series I, II, and III , or simply the Land-Rover are compact British off-road vehicles, produced by the Rover Company since 1948, and later by British Leyland. Inspired by the World War II jeep, it was the first mass-produced civilian four-wheel drive car with doors, and an available hard roof.
This Land Rover Series 1 107 was first registered on the 20th June 1956 and is now requiring some light recommission work.
It starts and runs very well, the engine is like a sewing machine with no noises. It has a new fuel pump fitted and the fuel tank has been internally reconditioned.
The Land Rover drives well, the drivetrain is in good order with no nasty noises. It has just been fitted with a new brake master cylinder as well as new brake lines and wheel cylinders all round.
Now for the project bits - the chassis is very solid and has recently had a huge amount of professional work and left over are two very small areas which will require welding, the footwells and door pillars will also require some work.
The current V5 is present.
