1948 Bradford CC Van
£7,000
Location: Petworth
The Jowett Bradford was a British light van produced from 1946 to 1953 by Jowett Cars Ltd of Idle, near Bradford, England. It was also available as an estate car from 1947 to 1953.
This 1948 Bradford CC was first registered in December 1948 in Brighton, more recently it has spent a number of years in a museum in Devon.
The engine is very perky and sounds strong. It runs well and pulls along very nicely. There is no frost damage and the oil pressure is good.
The drivetrain is in fine fettle, it bombs along and handles well. If you’ve never driven one before they are fun thing vehicles.
The bodywork has been restored, there is no corrosion and the panels are straight. The paintwork is bright and shiny, it isn’t immaculate but does present well. The interior is minimal and was originally only designed with one seat, however we do have a second to go with it.
We do have the current V5 but other paperwork is very limited.
