1939 Morris 10/4 Series M
Sold
Location: Cranleigh
Morris replaced the Morris Ten Series III with an all new unitary construction car in 1938 that also boasted a new 1140cc engine. Post war, the car restarted production in 1945. It was slightly restyled, gaining a rounded grill with horizontal bars.
This Morris Series M has been very well looked after with a "no expense spared" restoration completed a few years ago.
The engine is in lovely order - the car runs well and sounds great with plenty of power. The drive train is very quiet and the gear change and clutch are very smooth. The brakes are very good, a new master cylinder has been fitted and as well as the rest of the system cleaned and adjusted. All the electrics work and it has a new 12V battery.
Body work is in very good order and the underside is very clean with no corrosion. The paintwork has been carried out to a high standard and, although now not immaculate, it is still very nice.
Tax and MOT exempt as well as UKEZ compliant.
