1937 Morris 8 2 seater

Sold

Location: Cranleigh

The Morris Eight is a small family car produced by Morris Motors from 1935 to 1948. The car, inspired by the popularity of the Ford Model Y, helped Morris regain its position as Britain's largest motor manufacturer.

This little 1937 Morris 8 2 seater with dicky seat conversion is a surprising little gem. The body, as far as we know, was modified from a saloon and is a one off making it quite unique. It starts and runs very well, and has the performance to keep up with modern day traffic. With an SU carb and hydraulic brakes fitted as standard, the car makes for a pleasant drive.

The Morris has benefited from a refurbishment in its history and the interior, that was replaced at the time, is just as good as the day it was replaced. Both the exterior and underside are also in good order. The paint work is still very nice, although not concours due to some blemishes coming through. We do have a walk around video we are more than happy to share.
