1937 Austin 7 Pearl

£3,500

Location: Balls Cross

The Ruby and Pearl model were introduced towards the end of the Seven production and represented quite a refined car compared with its earlier siblings. The interior was well trimmed, the seats comfortable and it had a front opening windscreen, sliding sunroof and wind-down windows to the front and rear. Still powered by the 747cc engine, the four-speed gearbox boasted synchromesh in 2nd, 3rd and fourth gears.

This 1937 Austin 7 Pearl is in unrestored oily rag condition and is the basis for a splendid winter project.

The Austin starts, run's and drives although we would suggest some work is needed.

The body is very solid, and the paintwork is largely original. The interior is no exception to originality and matches the rest of the patina.

The current V5 is present, this little car would suit someone who is looking for a project they can sink their teeth into over the winter month or two ready for the new year.
