Location: Cranleigh
Launched in 1932, and in production until 1947, the Austin 10 was a saloon car designed to fill the gap between the Austin 7 and the Austin 12. Due to its massive success numerous models were created over the years, including the Open Road Tourer that joined the range in 1933. In production for 6 years, the car brought some convertible magic to the range.
This Austin 10 Open Road Tourer really is a stunning example from 1937 - the car is to a very high standard and the engine runs like a sewing machine making it a pleasure to drive.
Both the exterior and interior are in excellent condition. The striking green paint work, although not concours, is very near immaculate and the interior is just as nice with no rips or tears.
Unusually, it has been fitted with a heater both front and back which is run from the cooling system.
Complete with wet weather gear, the roof is in good order as well as the side screens.
TAX and MOT exempt.
The car really does speak for itself so viewing is encouraged.
