1936 Morris 8

The Morris Eight is a small family car produced by Morris Motors from 1935 to 1948 and was inspired by the popularity of the Ford Model Y. The success of the car enabled Morris to regain its position as Britain's largest motor manufacturer.

This 1936 Morris 8 was first registered on the 3rd November 1936, the car has then been in the same ownership since the 70s until recently.

The engine is very sweet and runs well. It has good oil pressure and no frost leaks.

The drivetrain is in good order either no nasty noises. The clutch works correctly and the gears are direct. It has good tyres all round and is fitted with very unusual after market wheel discs. We have cleaned these up however they could be painted another day if the brass colour isn’t to your taste.

The body is very solid, there is no corrosion to the underside, the paintwork shines well and although not immaculate it is very nice. The interior has been replaced at some point and there are no rips or tears.
