1935 Austin 10/4 Lichfield

Sold

Location: Cranleigh

The Austin Ten is a small car that was produced by Austin. It was launched on 19 April 1932 and was Austin's best-selling car in the 1930s and continued in production, with upgrades, until 1947.

This Austin 10/4 Lichfield was first registered in Sussex on the 2nd April 1935 and more recently has spent the last 20 years in Nuneaton.

The engine is as sweet as a nut, it really does run well and sounds spot on, there is no frost damage and all fluids are in the correct places.

The drivetrain is as good as the rest of the running gear, there are no nasty noises and all gears are direct. The car handles very well and is fitted with new tyres all round.

The body is very solid and the underside is as clean as the top, the paintwork work isn't immaculate but it does polish up nicely and present well.

The interior is very original and in good order, the sunroof is working correctly as are all the gauges.

We have a large amount of history including the current V5.
