1934 Riley 9 Kestrel
£12,000
Location: Cranleigh
The Riley Nine was one of the most successful light sporting cars produced by the British motor industry in the inter war period. It was made by the Riley company of Coventry, England with a wide range of body styles between 1926 and 1938.
This Riley 9 Kestrel was first registered on the 16th October 1934 in South East London, in more recent times it has spent a number of years in Hampshire.
The engine runs very well, there is no frost damage, and pulls along very nicely. There are no coolant leaks or over heating issues.
The drivetrain is in good order, it changes gear perfectly and handles the road well. It has new tyres all round, the brakes are good and the steering sharp.
The body is in good order, the paintwork is far from immaculate but it does present well and polishes up nicely, the interior is very nice and has been retrimmed to a high standard.
We have a history file, including some old buff logbooks as well as some old TAX discs. The current V5 is also present.
