1934 Morris 10/4 2 Seater with Dickey Seat
Sold
Location: Cranleigh
The Morris Ten is a medium-sized car introduced for 1933 as the company's offering in the important 10 hp sector of the British market. It continued through a series of variants until October 1948 when along with Morris's Twelve and Fourteen it was replaced by the 13.5 hp Morris Oxford MO.
This 1934 Morris 10/4 starts and runs very well, it has good oil pressure and sounds great, it is fitted with 12V electrics and has a stainless steel exhaust.
The drivetrain is in lovely order and drives nicely, the gears are direct and the clutch is smooth. The brakes are good and the car handles the road well.
The bodywork is very solid, it has been restored to a high standard and although not concours it is very nice. The interior has been retrimmed at some point and the dickey seat matches the front. The hood is water tight and has full wet weather gear including side screens.
We have a history file including the current V5.
