1934 Austin 7 RP
Reserved
Locations: Petworth
The Austin 7 is an economy car that was produced from 1923 until 1939. It was nicknamed the "Baby Austin" and was, at that time, one of the most popular cars produced for the British market. Its effect on the British market was similar to that of the Model T Ford in the US, replacing most other British economy cars of the early 1920s.
This Austin 7 was first registered on the 27th April 1934 in London, it has spent the last 33 years in Epsom and amazingly only has one previous keeper on the V5.
As you can see this car is a project, the body is very solid and from that point of view will make a fantastic car with minimal effort. the interior is very original and on the whole in good condition. The engine and mechanicals look fairly complete and even has some extra spares to help the project along.
The original engine is actually the crankcase/one in bits, the more complete engine is supposedly a good second hand replacement.
We do have the current V5 as well as some history.
