1932 Morris Minor
Sold
Location: Cranleigh
The Morris Minor is a small 4-seater car with an 850 cc engine manufactured by Morris Motors Limited from 1928 until 1934. The name was resurrected for another newer car for the same market in 1948.
This 1932 Morris Minor is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for an easy winter project.
The car is up and running although will need some recommissioning. While the car benefits from a new battery and the brakes and gear change are both good there are some initial items to address that include:
- A full service - it is currently hesitant and the spark plugs look like the originals
- Over fueling and a perished fuel hose
- Wandering steering
The paint work has a lot of character and is very much along the lines of an oily rag car. The interior is complete and generally in good order although a mouse has made the odd hole here and there. The doors do shut however they have to be lifted and the offside window is cracked.
While we have driven the car it does require some general TLC and therefore it will need transporting to enable a full inspection and the relevant work carried out before being used in earnest.
Car comes with a current V5.
The car is MOT and TAX exempt, including ULEZ compliant.
