The Ford Model A is the Ford Motor Company's second market success, replacing the venerable Model T which had been produced for 18 years. It was first produced on October 20, 1927, but not introduced until December 2. This new Model A was designated a 1928 model and was available in four standard colours.
This Manchester built Ford Model A was first registered on the 23rd January 1931 in Bristol, in more recent times it has spent a number of years in Croydon.
This is very much a project, its very complete, the engine turns over and has compression, there are two carburettors including some other spares. - Please see pictures.
The body is very solid, and there is no major corrosion, the wheels have been refurbished and new tyres fitted all-round including the spare.
