1931 Ford Model A

Sold

Location: Balls Cross, West Sussex

The Ford Model A is the Ford Motor Company's second market success, replacing the venerable Model T which had been produced for 18 years. It was first produced on October 20, 1927, but not introduced until December 2. This new Model A was designated a 1928 model and was available in four standard colours.

This Manchester built Ford Model A was first registered on the 23rd January 1931 in Bristol, in more recent times it has spent a number of years in Croydon.

The engine starts and runs well, it sounds great and has no frost damage.

The drivetrain is in good order, the clutch is smooth and the gears direct, it handles as you would expect, the brakes are good and trundles along nicely.

The body is very solid, and there is no major corrosion, the wheels have been refurbished and new tyres fitted all-round including the spare.

We have the current V5 present, this car only needs a small amount of finishing off depending on your desired result.
