1931 Ford Model A Pick Up

Reserved

Location: Petworth

The Ford Model A is the Ford Motor Company's second market success, replacing the venerable Model T which had been produced for 18 years. It was first produced on October 20, 1927, but not introduced until December 2. This new Model A was designated a 1928 model and was available in four standard colours.

This Ford Model A Pick Up is a more unusual prospect being right hand drive and having the larger engine. It starts and runs very well, it sounds great and has bags of power.

The transmission is very quiet, the gears are direct and is a pleasure to drive. It handles well, the wheels have been refurbished and has new tyres fitted all round.

The pick up was extensively restored and all woodwork was replaced during the restoration, the paintwork although not immaculate it presents well and has plenty of character.

The interior was retrimmed at the time of the refurbishment and is as nice as the day it was fitted.

We have a history file including the current V5.
