1931 Douglas

Sold

Location: Cranleigh

Douglas was a British motorcycle manufacturer from 1907 to 1957 based in Kingswood, Bristol, owned by the Douglas family, and especially known for its horizontally opposed twin cylinder engined bikes and as manufacturers of speedway machines.

This 1931 Douglas has been part of a private collection for a number of years. It is in lovely oily rag condition and we have had it running. We believe it to be an S6 however we are unsure of the exact model and would love to hear any ones thoughts.

Unfortunately time ran out with the previous owner and he was unable to finish off the restoration therefore it is being offered as an easy project which would benefit from a small amount of recommissioning.

Bike comes with some history/paperwork and the current V5 is present.

Please feel free to contact us for further information or to arrange a viewing - a walk around video is available that can be shared.
