1931 Austin 7 RN

Location: Cranleigh
The Austin 7 is an economy car that was produced from 1923 until 1939. It was nicknamed the "Baby Austin" and was, at that time, one of the most popular cars produced for the British market. Its effect on the British market was similar to that of the Model T Ford in the US, replacing most other British economy cars of the early 1920s.
This charming little car has been well cared for over the years. Mechanically it’s in good order, bombs along with plenty of power and is a joy to drive.
The primrose yellow paint work is in good order and, although far from immaculate, it has been finished to a high standard. It's nice to see the correct colour scheme with the body colour taken on top of the bonnet. The interior has plenty of character with the headlining having been replaced in more recent years.
We have plenty of history and paperwork with the car, including old invoices showing the work it has received, more recently a clutch.
