1929 Flatnose Morris Cowley

Sold

Location: Cranleigh

In 1926, the Bullnose radiator was replaced by a flat version known as the Flatnose. These cars were built by Morris until 1931. The chassis was new and the suspension was updated with semi elliptic leaf springs all round plus Smiths friction type scissor shock absorbers.

This Flatnose Morris Cowley was registered in Norwich in 1929, and in recent times had spent a number of years in the same area.

The engine starts and runs well, the magneto looks to have been refurbished recently, there is no frost damage and all fluids are in the correct places.

The drivetrain is in good order, there are no nasty noises and drives just how a Cowley should. The car handles well and has new tyres fitted.

The Morris was likely a concours car when first restored, the paintwork is stunning and although it now has a few marks around it still looks great.

The interior matches the exterior, it has been retrimmed to a high standard and is as good as the day it was done.

We have some history including a manual as well as the V5.
