1925 Bullnose Morris

£10,500

Location: Petworth

The "bullnose" Morris Oxford is a series of motor car models produced by British manufacturer Morris from 1913 to 1926. It was named by W R Morris after the city in which he grew up and which his cars were to industrialise.

This Morris Oxford was first registered on the 1st March 1925 in Manchester, and more recently it has spent a number of years in Cheshire.

The engine runs very well, there is no frost damage and has a new 12V battery fitted. It has good oil pressure and sounds very strong.

The drivetrain is in good order with no nasty noises. It drives along nicely, the gears are direct and the clutch smooth, which can be quite unusual for these.

The bodywork is very solid and we would describe this as oily rag condition, the paintwork has a lot of character and after a quick WD40 restoration comes up very nicely with a great look.

The interior is in the same condition as the exterior, it was likely party retrimmed at some point but is very much in keeping. The hood is in good order and water tight, you may also notice it has a rear screen fitted which is a nice addition, we do also have some side screens which would need attention before being used.

We have a large history file, including the current V5. The Bullnose is a lovely opportunity to own a car with a bit of character, the car has been off the road since 1994 and is now ready to go once again.
