1922 Bullnose Morris Oxford
Sold
Location: Cranleigh
The "bullnose" Morris Oxford is a series of motor car models produced by British manufacturer Morris from 1913 to 1926. It was named by W R Morris after the city in which he grew up and which his cars were to industrialise.
This example was one of seven cars which attended the first ever Bullnose Morris Club meeting in 1952. It has been well cared for throughout its life and is a lovely running example.
The car starts well and the engine runs like a sewing machine meaning, all in all, it bombs along very nicely. The gearbox is very quiet and the gear change nice and direct. It has also been fitted with a new 12V battery.
As for the paintwork - it presents well and, although not immaculate, has mellowed nicely and it is still very clean and tidy. The interior has been retrimmed, including the carpets, all of which has been carried out to a high standard.
The car comes with full wet weather gear including full side screens along with the added bonus of windscreen extensions either side.
Complete with history and paperwork including the current V5.
